2026 Week 1 Bear Tracks

The offseason gave Bear Fans plenty to sit with. A season that ended wrong, a coaching change, weeks of waiting, and finally Coach Crane's name on the door. Now BHP hosts T.L. The 2026 Bear Tracks Five Questions

Call it a preseason tradition now, but I can't start a season without proposing 5 questions that will shap the upcoming campaign. This year the list came easy, because the questions are everywhere. New head coach, a new quarterback picture, and a schedule that might be the toughest in program history. And yes, I get into the question everyone keeps asking about this schedule, though I think it needs to be flipped on its head.

2026 Season Preview

The whispers this offseason have been loud. A new head coach, a new region, one of the toughest schedules in years, and a transfer that stings more because it stayed inside the county. But the whisper is the easy story, the one handed to you everywhere you look, and like every whisper it's already halfway to gone. The echo is the other thing, a front seven that could be the best in the state, a spine at tight end and running back, and a game-changer waiting in the secondary, and it's been building all summer.
