The Thunder Rolled Friday night and we aren’t talking Garth Brooks. A much anticipated game against T.L. Hanna was cancelled due to lightning. Now the Bears turn their focus to another Anderson County school, the Pendleton Bulldogs. Hopefully this week the only thunder and lightning we see is the Bears’ RJ Ellis - Jeremiah Johnson running back combo.
Week 4 Preview
BHP goes on the road Friday night to take on the 2-1 Pendleton Bulldogs. Pendleton will be coming off a win over Berea with their only loss coming to Palmetto. Despite the record and classification, Pendleton will be looking to make a splash trying to shock BHP and come up with a win.
BHP will look to get back on course and lean on their rushing game to power their way back to their winning ways. We should see a heavy dose of Ellis and Johnson, but that may open up the passing attack as it did last year.

Bear Trivia Answer
There are 4 teams that BHP has played 4 or more times that they have never lost to. Those teams are Powdersville (4-0), Emerald (4-0), Pendleton (9-0) and McDuffie (14-0).
Note on McDuffie (it is not a school any more so we can pile on): McDuffie did not score the first 6 match-ups against BHP. They only scored 43 total points against BHP for an average of 3 points per game.
